Xanalys achieve ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for Information Security Management Systems

XANALYS ACHIEVE ISO/IEC 27001:2013 CERTIFICATION

ISO27001 265Xanalys can proudly announce today that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). Xanalys, the leading provider of investigative and major case management software, becomes one of the first industry providers to offer its customers the critical piece of mind that comes with this certification.

The ISO certification is the international standard that describes best practice for an ISMS. Accredited certification demonstrates that an organisation is following strict international information security processes. Certification Europe, a renowned third-party certification body, conducted the required audit of Xanalys’ office, policies, and procedures and has officially certified the company as compliant.

“Achieving ISO 27001 certification is significant and important,” states Greg Mann, Xanalys’ managing director. “Our clients use Xanalys investigation software to manage critical and sensitive investigations of fraud and major crimes. They require and deserve complete assurance that risks to information security are mitigated under strict management controls.”

The ISO (International Standards Organization) 27001 standard mandates specific management processes that must be in place to control risks to information systems. To become certified, a company must implement the mandated controls and undergo a formal audit that confirms that they are compliant with the requirements set forth by the standard.
